HELP!! Civic Starter and Alternator

Will an automatic starter and alternator for a B16 fit a D16Y8 with an automatic tranny? My buddy has an automatic and wondered if it would work. Thanks everyone

The starter from a bseries will work on your singlecam d16y8 ,But the alternator from the b series will not work because it is different in brackets...
