hey i drive a egb18cturbo withb18 gearbox no lsd, stock clutch and flywheel
yesterday i thought il give it ago launching in 2nd gear as i launched revs were at 8000rpm and just stayed still there and then a big BANG my clutch pedal went really soft but still springing and i could hear small pieces droping off my car.So i had a look and seen a preey big crack on the gearbox,im thinking maybe my clutch failed?my gearbox is maybe still repairable?i tried starting the car but heard small metal pieces moving around while trying to start engine so left it there. any help would be apprectiated

 

You're going to have to take it apart to find the damage. My guess is the clutch though. If there's a crack on the transmission itself, it's possible to have it welded. If there's also internal transmission damage, I'd look for a used replacement.
