Difference between ULEV and VTEC
This may be a dumb question, but what's the difference between a Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) engine and a SOHC VTEC?

ULEV has to do with the emission of your vehicle.
SOHC VTEC is the engine technology that your vehicle utilizes.
SOHC = Single Over Head Cam
VTEC = Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control

Nevermind, I was thinking of the DX model accord that has no VTEC and only 135 hp.

Try emissions controls, i.e. catalytic converter.
