Check for vacuum leaks. Do a full tune up.

The motor has about 200 miles on it... Would it be necessary to do a full tune up? Also how do i check for vacuum leaks? Would i be better off taking is to a shop since i dont kno how?

Thanx for helping, everyone

The O-ring on my injector just went out. Does the dealership carry them? Do you have any suggestions when it comes to changing these??

i get barely 130mpt.... something is seriously wrong with my car, plus it idles 1k above normal factory idle, regardless of doing everything everyone has told me to do to fix the problem nothing has worked... there are so many factors when it comes to engines and poor gas mileage is one of those tough to figure out things.

you should be able to get replacement oring kits at Napa/autozone/where ever for ~$5/injector. They should also sell a universal set of orings that you should be able to find the right size to use while they order the correct kit.

I'll try the dealership see if they have the ones i need. My question is, when installing them should i use any lube on the orings (when i insert the injector into the fuel rail). I have seen the injectors and they looked perfect before my friend installed them. When he put them into the fuel rail he was really struggling with them, and when i took them out the other day becuase of the leak, i noticed that all the orings were twisted and some pinched. So if i use some lube on them would that be good to prevent messing them up??

Thanx

if you want some bolt on things to get better gas milage get an aem v2 cold air intake..with some dc headers....and a cat-back system that you like...that should give you a slight increase in gas milage along with some power

YOu guys that have installed injectors before how did u do it to not mess up the orings? they really have a hard time getting inside the fuel rail so i dont wanna force anything to not damage the orings again. Would using some oil maybe help??
