Default Turbo size for B16a2?

I have a B16a2 EG hatch, I've found a turbo kit local to me for a good price......but i was going to buy a T3/T04e with a .57 trim and 63 a/r and run it at like 7psi max. This kit has a t3 turbo....so if i run higher boost will i still get the same power?

Basically i'm saying if i dont want anymore than 220-230whp on stock internals would a t3 turbo do?

heres the specs im looking at.

Garrett T3 turbocharger

.42 A/R
.48 EXHAUST

.50 STAGE iii WHEEL

2.5" charge piping

38MM WASTEGATE

680mm X 460mm X 180mm INTERCOOLER

Thanks for any help

That turbo is on the small side, so don't expect much, if any flexability when you get to your HP mark. It will make that much power, but not much more.

Have you seen compressor maps of this particular turbo to see if it will function well with your application?

on a D I don't see that happening unless you really crank up the boost out of the turbos range.

I would go with a T3/T04E and you choose the trims that are right for you.
.63AR exhaust side is a must if you want to have anymore power down the road

Yeh thinking bout it i'm gonna hold out for a T3/to4e.......
Is it safe to run it at 10psi on stock internals? So long as the tuning is done properly.
