Connecting rods-What's recommended?
Looking for connecting rods, need better ones than eagle / crower econo billet-boosting over 15lbs...
What does everyone here use?
I know Manley turbo tuff rods are badass, but they're out of stock everywhere...
Carillo's are expensive--is it just the name? or quality as well?
Can't find any info on Crower steel billet rods ( list for approx $726 ) anyone running these?
LMK

same as manleys--about 650, depending on where you look...Where I am ( Houston Texas ) they might be as hard if not harder to get than manleys ( f***ing impossible!! ) May have to settle for crowers, builder and tuner both use them, and both are over 500whp...I'll check on the pauter's availability and let everyone know...
pauters are same as manley / carrillo...650-700 ($) range...pauters should be here soon after the first...engine / turbo being re-built through may, should be streetable / tuned in june

I think the S300 is crazy priced. You can get just as much, if not more, out of Neptune for much less. The hardest part about Neptune is finding a tuner that's close.

Features:
*Real-time programmability
*Non-interruptive uploads/downloads
*Upload/Download full data program in 1/4 second
*Datalogging and programming on one line
*On-board logging to SDCard
*Plugs in to regular socket and 4 pin data header, no need for modification if your ECU is previously socketed
*Extra 0-5v inputs for any type of sensor. Can be configured in the software. Set type, voltage scale, real-world values, add a gauge for the input, and datalog away!
Add-ons:
*Bluetooth wireless connectivity for datalogging and programming

The most reliable tuners around here use hondata...the "Neptuners" here haven't been putting out very impresive numbers...guess they just haven't figured out the software, yet, or something...
Luckily, I know the local Neptue tuner. The creator of Neptune is VERY picky about who he allows to be a tuner and he only allows so many in a certain proximity. It's pretty funny, but definitely keeps him in control of pricing and all that. Sucks for people that don't live close to one though. :happysad:
