8valve to 16valve head swap?
They say a 1993 Civic CX is slow because of the 8 valve head.
Can I bolt on a 16 valve head?
Not looking for a rocket, just a little more power, at a cheap price. (I know that REALLY doesn't exist but....)

SOHC VTEC and LS motors are both pretty cheap and they bolt in, I don't see the reason to stick with the CX block.
I have my Civic, this car is suppose to be for the wife, so I can't go too crazy.
I have a 93 DX motor here. Is it a drop in to the CX. I would probably need to use the CX intake I presume in order to keep the wiring harness the same.
If it's a drop in, I'll just do that for the extra 20 Horses.
i assume that the dx is strait bolt-in, but i dont have much experiance though...i am also under the impression that the b-series motors are also, all i think you need is ecu and motor mounts for that engine, as long as its an obd I engine and ecu it should all plug right in
