nitrous safe on an old motor??
is nitrous (i am planning to get a zex kit running at 55 shot) safe on my 60000 miles motor?) mine is a 96 accord LX auto....

It's not necessarily the mileage of the motor, it's the condition of the motor. Do a compression and leakdown test, and if they turn out ok you're good to go. You don't need a window switch, but it is a very good idea with your auto tranny.

DO NOT get an aftermarket chip for your ecu and run nitrous. Unless it's a nitrous specific chip, it won't be good. Most of the chips out there for all motor setups run extreme timing maps, this is not good with nitrous, it promotes detonation.
