Raising compression reving 10!?
Im in the process of building my b16a2 head. I want to get some serious power with good tuning through hondata reving to atleast 9.5 hopefully 10. How can I sufficiently raise my compression to cope with such high reving. I dont want to build the block too much because I would like to do a GSR block swap after a while. Like which pistons and other components would be best for what I am trying to accomplish.
You will need cams that make power that high. I would be more worried about an accurate spark at 9k rpms and up. You just won't get it with a distributor.
I just don't see the point of revving that high....I guess it is a macho thing or something. :dunno:
