Default Honda Civic Ex With Honda Civic Cx Motor

Hello All

I Am New To This Site Sooo Id Like To Say Whaaaatttssss Up. I Had A B16 Conversion In My 90 Crx Si Back In The Day And Loved It. Just Wished The Insurance Would Have Given Me More Then Blue Book Value When I Wrecked It.

I Was Hoping Out There Somewhere Someone Could Help Me With A Ecu Problem Im Having. I Recently Took Out The D16z6 (125 Hp) Engine In My 93 Honda Civic Ex, And Droped In A D15b8 From A 94 Honda Cx (70 Hp) I Know Why In The Hell Why I Do That ???? I Was On Crack, Not Really Just Wanted To Put An Enging In And Got A Great Deal On It And Now That It's In It Runs Like A Wennie Dog Running To The Dish Bowl. I Have The Ecu From The D16z6 (125 Hp) Running The D15b8 (70 Hp) . This Is The Tricky Part, My Honda Ex Has An Automatic Tranny And When I Bought The Honda Cx Engine It Was Used With A Munuell. When The Ecu From The Honda Civic Cx Is Hooked Up It Will Not Allow Me To Put My Car In Gear, Because It Does Not Reconize That The Car Has An Automatic Tranny. I Need To Know What Ecu I Should Use With The D15b8 (70 Hp) That Will Reconize And Opperate The Engine As Properly As Possible?

If Any Ne Can Help Me It Would Be Really Great.

Thanks

You need an automatic CX/VX ECU.
