Default What pistons to run

looking for some good priced high compression pistons for a ls/vtec setup i've heard jdm type r's are good but will the civic type r's give to high of a compression with a gs-r head? i am aiming for 11.5:1 - 12:1 compresion ratio

The CTR pistons would put the compression ratio at a very unfriendly pump gas 12.6:1. The USDM or JDM Type R pistons will put your compression rate at 11.3:1 and 11.9:1 respectively.

Yes, it is factoring in that you are using a B18A/B block and a GSR head.
