b16 block gsr head? any good?

Default b16 block gsr head? any good?

i have a buddy that has a b16 block with a gsr head and ya know its pretty clean but i offered him 500$ for it and pretty much he said ya, oh ya and it comes with ls cable tranny obd1 gsr head with polished valve cover and stuff like that what do you guys think horsepower wise? i have a 2k gsr right now compeletely stock but i want to put that motor in so i have something i can abuse and not my clean 60k miles gsr i have in my car what do you guys think

Wow that's a terrible fucking setup.

Stock for stock, the B16 head will outflow the B18C1 head. So putting on a more restrictive head makes no sense.

The B16 has no torque, so it needs a B16/B18C1/B18C5 tranny to get the thing moving, not the long gears of an LS transmission.

If you want to abuse something, go buy an Escort.
