Default civic beat 350z

can you make a 1.7L sohc civic beat a stock 350z i doubt it but if so what would you do to the civic performance wise to do so?

1.7 liter sohc, maybe its just me but never heard of that motor in a civic. maybe i am wrong though

1.7 SOHC D17 was found in the 7th gen Civics.

I'm sure you could if you'd like to fork over gobs of cash and throw reliability down the shithole. The D17 is one of the many bastard childs of the D-Series engines as they all use VTEC-E which is a terrible setup from a performance standpoint. The 6th gen HX's used VTEC-E, and the D15 is just...yeah.

The K-Series is swappable into that chassis, HASport makes mounts. You're looking at least $4,500, and you'll be able to beat a stock 350Z without a problem then (with a K20A2)

Yeah it's not possible to beat the all mighty 350z because they are so fast...
