Default CRX/Integra susp conversion

I have a 91 CRX HF that I put 91 Integra suspension components on. Now when I try to align it the tie rods have to be out as far as they will go (bordering on unsafe) to get it aligned correctly. Does this sound right? I'm still using my CRX tie rods, do I need to switch to integra tie rods?

Default Doh!

No responses, that's never a good sign. That means Integra/CRX tie rods are probably exactly the same and the I shouldn't be having this issue with the swap in the first place

Another question... I have 2 CRX manuals, one shows the tie rod sitting on top of the knuckle the other shows it on the bottom? Should the tie rod connect to the knuckle from the top or bottom, does it vary for different years?

I'd be using Integra tie rod ends if they work.

Default not the same length

Integra (2nd gen) tie rods are longer by about 1/2 inch and the rubber bushings are a litte beefer too.

I looked up the part numbers on partsamerica.com at lunch today. The Integra/CRX outer tie rod part numbers are the same, but the inner part numbers are different. I wonder if that's where the extra length comes in. I've heard the inner ones are a lot harder to change, is that true? Also will the inner rods fit the CRX?

With a little more research it looks like 1st gen CRX tie rods connect to the bottom of the knuckle, the rest connect to the top.
