Default is ls/vtec turbo stable?

Whats good everyone I am thinking about going ls/vtec boosting... is this a realible setup???? or is it just problems waiting to happpen?

the reason I am asking is because my boy is going to sell me a ls block with crank and rods and some gsr pistons.... for $100 so i figured since it had gsr pistion that would give me a 10:1 right???? so would that be good for a turbo setup????

If it's tuned properly and built correctly, yep.
