Hey does anybody know when the "vtech" kicks on in a stock b16a motor? im kinda new at this, thanks

first of all its vtec not vtech thats a phone! it should kick in between 5 rpm and 5500 rpm

Mine kicked in when someone would call me.
My car on the other hand, the switchover happend about 5,200rpm or so ( It wasn't stock for very long and it was a long time ago)....

My B16a2 switched over at 5400rpm, but i've lowered it to 5200rpm now with VAFC2.
