Default acura legend will not start

1990 Legend
120,000 miles
About a year ago I started having a problem starting the car. It would turn over but not start. After waiting about 1 hour it start, run fine and give no problems for maybe 3 months. Then it would do the same thing. This winter it would happen about every 3 days. That lasted for 2 weeks and now it will not start. It has been sitting for 4 days now. Any thoughts. Oh by the way I had a mechanic check it out when it first happened but he found nothing wrong.

Main relay as suggested. I'd also honestly look to see if your car's timing is off (belt might of jumped).

If it's only starting dependant on weather it's a slight possibility.

I have a similar problem with my 92 Legend. Starts sporatically, sometimes immediately after hearing a barely audible click behind the firewall (perhaps on the passenger side). It starts eventually everytime, but sometimes it takes more than 30 minutes.

If this could be the "main relay" where is that located? I've checked all relays in the fuse boxes I know of in the engine compartment and they seem to be OK.

Any help?

Default engine will crank but wont start

i have a 91 legend, that click you hear is the main relay. the main relay is located in the driver side under the steering wheel on the left side it is easy to see its a black box and it will say mitsuba relay assy, main r z-0105, its about $80 at the dealer im poor so i took the bord out of the black box and zip tied it so it wont touch nothing and when the legend wont start i just tap the relay and it will start right up ,i know its ghetto but it works .and untill i get spare cash then i will buy a new one .

Main fuel relay is a very common problem with older Hondas.
