Default Idle Problem, someone please help

I have just wend through a whole engine rebuild, my motor was pulled and put back in, and every since i first installed cams on my car my idle was ****ty, everyone told me it was my 6403 crower cams and it will go away if they were taken out. I had valve springs and retainers put in as well at the time. Well i went away from all motor than i went turbo so i took the cams out and the idle is still bad. A year later, still bad. It is not the IACV that was changed several times. My idle will be horrible when i start the car, it will go from 1,000 up to 2,200 than slowly as it warms up gets a little bit better. It is not my antifreez, and some say it could be a vacuum leak from when i put the skunk2 intake manifold on. It is extremely annoying and i cant ever get a answer to this problem, anyone have a similar or had a similar problem with theirs? PLEASE let me know if you have anything that can help me. thanks

Sounds like a vacuum leak, also check your idle adjustment screw.

Is there air in your cooling system? That could cause a weird idle when the air pockets hit the iacv.
