Ive been thinking about how I could get the most out of a motor without exactly building it and just swapping. So I first thought to swap blocks with a B18C JDM GSR block with my head, but I want more power on the swap. So then i was thinking an H22 after I recently saw that they have motor mounts for my car. Which should I do, and what faults come with both? Is there any extras that need to be included with the H22 swap? And im planning on selling my motor, its in great condition with 77000 miles, how much could i get for it with everything included and an ODB1 setup?

 

Well you will get more power with the H22 but the work involved in the swap will cost you. It doesnt just bolt in. you need axles mounts custom drilling and cutting to run the cables for the transmisson. but the B18 will just bolt in it will be faster then your stock b16 and probaly more reliable. it also cost alittle more then the h22. but its all up to you. the h22 would be a good drag car cause it weights like 65 pounds heavier then the B and a upgraded supesnsion should be a good idea to.like i said its up to you and what you want to do.

 

Just a little more info. With H22A engine in your car,your car handling will be different cause it weight more in the front.
