GSR intake manifold on B16A2 Head?
I've got a stock GSR intake manifold that my friend gave me, I want to kno if it will fit on my Si head with no probs. I'm thinking about putting it on because I heard that it increases air flow and it would save me money in buying something like a Skunk2. Whats are the ups and downs if it does fit?Any comments are greatly appreciated.
I don't believe it will fit.
The b16 I/M is like the skunk2, the gs-r has the baffs and dual runners.
I've never compared the two, but thinking back at my manifold prior to putting it on, I think the studs are placed defferently....Not 100% sure though.

The flange bolt pattern won't match up. The only head the GSR manifold will fit on is the GSR head. Not to mention that you would have to switch out the ECU to run the IABs, but then the fuel and ignition curves will be off.
I recommend you sell the manifold and get either a Type-R manifold or Skunk2 manifold, both which will bolt right up without having to deal with IABs and will give you more power than the GSR manifold.

I have the Skunk2 and it just shifts power further back in the powerband. It will make more peak hp and torque, though.
