I have a 05 civic LX coupe & I just got my short ram intake. Now from idle to about 3000 rpm I get like a real airy sound. I was wondering if this is a natural sound with short rams or does it matter what shape of filter you have on it. Mine almost makes a turbo sound! I dont mind the sound but I just wanna make sure its all working right! Thanks!

 

Yep normal, you can probably hear it when you shut the car off for a few seconds afterwards too.
