Default MSD Ignition help!!!

just installed the complete msd package. 6al, exteral blaster coil, power cap, crane wires (didnt have msd in stock at the time) and my car is running like shit. its like the install took all the torque out. runs slow with no acceleration. i already check the timing, chage the spark plugs to a copper tip, and check the wiring to everything. nothing. need help please.

Take it all out because it's not doing anything for your car. There's plenty of built and boosted cars running very high horsepower on factory ignitions and wires.

You have a b16a with ONE skunk2 camshaft and bored heads?

So your running one stock camshaft and where did you put the other head?
Get rid of the copper plugs and the ignition set-up, it's overkill for your car.
But if you must keep it, check your plug gaps and make sure they are correct, and make sure your plug wires are properly seated.

I agree.

Your stock ignition is good for up to 400whp. Getting all that MSD crap was a waste of money.

I got 612whp out of mine with nothing but the blaster 3 coil (no ignition box), and I'm confident that I could do it with a new OEM coil too
