Default running rich?

Was just curious if GSR's run rich, gen 3's in particular. I got the car 5 days ago, and am on my third tank... im hovering around 24mpg will just intake. Im not bein picky, just seems like it should be around 28ish? 24,34, 64... doesnt matter. do they run rich?
Thanks in advance

(reason im asking is trying to find out how much hp i can actually gain by getting an obd1 setup and tuning it/leaning it out).

You can pick up a few hp, not much. Don't expect big gains. I wouldbe surprised if you picked up more then 5hp.

With that few mods your reliabilty is the same as a bone stock motor. Reliability only becomes and issue when your pushing the motor harder then bolt-on's (such as turbo,s/c, n20,etc)....the parts you have won't degrade the reliability.

Sounds like you need a major tuneup. I get 24 mpg at 8 psi in stop and go traffic. Since you just bought it, it wouldn't hurt to replace everything you can such as timing belt, spark plugs, wires, cap/rotor, etc, etc...

yea i just went through another tank... 22mpg AFTER replacing plugs. Belt has been changed @ 100k (24k ago). Cap rotor and wires are next. I think i should just keep my foot off the floor LOL GSR with intake vs. 05 nissan sentra SE-R Spec V on 18"s is a damn close race. He gets about 1/4 car off the line and then we're neck and neck up to 100. Crazy ish.... damn 6 speeds! haha
