swapping cams- need pics!
Im buying cams tonite for my 97 gsr and wanted to see a few pictures of a b18c with the valve cover off. Close ups would be nice How long should it take to replace just the cams? Also, do you think its imperative to go from a gsr to itr valvetrain with skunk2 stage 1 cams? Thanks in advance HAN homies

It's not necessary to go with the ITR valvetrain...but I probably would down the road. Here's a complete how to cam install, with pics.

Pretty easy install. Be carefull not to loose the cam keys they are small..

so i can just push the tensioner from side to side to loosen/tighten? I assume using a prybar to hold the tensioner in place while ratcheting the 14mm bolt is ok to do?

Have you seen the tensioner? It's just a small wheel that has a bolt through it, it spins with the belt. There is a slot in the middle so it can slide back and forth with ease (there is no tension on it so use your hand). When your donr putting the belt on you push it over to put tension on the belt, tighten it and viola your done.
All you need is two hands, one socket wrench and about 22 seconds.

The tensioner automatically tensions the belt, so loosening the nut on the tensioner will release tension on the belt. Don't remove the nut completely, just loosen it a bit. When you are done, make sure you torque it to the correct spec, then set belt tension as shown in the how-to.

Discussion of or reference to street racing is not allowed on these forums. If your 0-100 video is on public streets I would suggest not posting it unless you want some serious warning points.
