Default Possible Engine Swap?????

this might sound like a stupid Q, but..............

would it be at all possible to swap out my CL's F22 with a C32...... I've thought about H22s and F20s... but I really like the sound of a C32, the engine bay was made for a J30 for the 3.0CLs, so I think it *might* fit, but the question lies in the mechanics... will an engine made for an MR properly work on an FF????

No.

You would have to change the drivetrain and that will require lots of custom fabrication. You could pick up a used NSX and still have money left over from what it would cost to do such a thing....if even possible.

IC... Thx 4 the help man...

but another Q (again might sound stupid)

I dont know the actual engine type/name ( ? 32, is all I can guess) but the 2nd gen CLs and TLs use other 3.2 V6 type engines on an FF layout, could I possibly try to find one of those and swap it with my F22, or am I just better off with an H22, F20, or possibly a J30

The Legend GS comes with a 3.2 just like the one you mentioned, but I seriously doubt it will fit without major modifications since the engine sits transverse but has a special differential that allows it to retain front wheel drive.

To be completely honest, the CL chassis is junk. My dad owns one and it is a brick. It is way to heavy for anything besides getting groceries and daily commuting. If you want to get into engine swaps, you need to consider a lighter chassis like the integra or civic where a B or H series motor would be a much better and cheaper choice.
