Default Help me identify this turbo?

My friend has a 1990 Teg LS, and he just got hit, so his turbo plans went out the window. Probably for the better, he has no idea what he's doing. He's got a brand new turbo, which I haven't seen yet, but am trying to identify. Here's all the information he's given me:

He says it's a Garrett Turbo, and he read me these numbers:

VW PN-068145703B
GAP PN-465384 1
S/N-LB 1073A (he said the B might be an 8, he's not sure)

He's trying to sell it, but I'm just trying to figure out what the hell we're working with here.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like it's out of an Audi/VW. Google search brings up this part number: GAR TA0304

I was talking with FatBooty last night, it's a turbo for an old Audi/VW diesel. Pretty much worthless, as far as I'm concerned.
