Default anyone heard of www.hcpengineering.com

I'm just curious if anyone has worked with these guys before. They seem to build up b16a and b18c motors. Their prices seem pretty reasonable, and they're particularly convenient for me, since I live around 15mins away from them.

However, I don't feel comfortable investing money into a vendor without recs from anybody else. Please help me out, thanks!

BTW- It would also be cool if some of you guys could suggest a shop in S.Cal (prefferably the LA area), that either builds ups engines, or sells pre-modified, hi-performance engines. Thanks!

i bought em for two reasons...$250 less....and they did not require that you cut the tranny bracket off, they have you use it, though it did have to be cut.

They make nice mounting kits like everyone else has said, but I haven't seen a motor built by them. You might also want to check out www.importbuilders.com which is in Fullerton, I don't know if that's near you since well, I'm in Wisconsin.

Hatchy--please start a new thread about which mounts to use so this one can stay on the topic of engine building. Thanks.
