Can anyone PLEASE HELP!!!!
The deal is, my 2000 si was ripped from my heart by thieves, dirty thieves, and they took a bunch of crap off the car, I just got it, only had 'er 3 days, anywho, the main items they took were my head and engine harness. So in lies my problem, see I have a spare gsr head chillin in my garage but before I use it I was wondering if a gsr engine harness will plug into the si wiring. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it

i would imagine so, as long as its and obd2 harness like the stock 2000 si harness. That car is famous for shit like that happening! I feel you pain, happened to a friend of mine, be glad you still have the block and tranny!

NO! The GS-R harness will not work for you. The '96+ Civic chassis (common called EK's) use a single harness that runs through the firewall down to the ECU. The '92-'95 Civic's (EG's) and '94+ Integra's (DC's) use a 2 piece harness which has one connected to the engine and another that connects to that harness at the shock towers and then runs to the ECU. You must use an EK harness in an EK car. There are also 2 versions OBD IIa and OBD IIb ('96-98 and '99-'00 respectively). If your planning to plug into your '99's stock ECU, you will need an OBD IIb harness. You can use any '99-'00 Civic harness, but the lower models will need additional wires run for missing features not on the old D-series engine.

I think you should be able to swap some gsr plugs onto the si harness for the ones that don't plug in right. There might be some other stuff you have to do to make it work right, but I'm not positive. The gsr wiring harness definitely won't work though because of what the others said.
