Default B20 Boosted??????????

Hey was up everyone... I got me a 93 teg and I am thinking of what I can swap in it. I know their are tons of options (b16a, gsr, type r, ls/vtec, turbo, nitrous, etc...) A guy I know just put a b20 motor in a ek. It is a stock b20 no vtec, and he is boosting... he ran mid 12's. Has anyone seen this before? The only time I seen a b20 is with a vtec head never just a b20 especially never boosted. What you guys think? Is it a good set up, will it last or blow and not worth it?

There is no point in swapping to a B20, when you have a perfectly fine B18b in your LS. That motor LOOOOVES boost. Especially when you throw a VTEC head on it.

the b20 cant handle the abuse the the b18 can due to its thin cylinder walls. and dont even start the arguement about the walls bring the same because there not!!!

Exactly..right on the money. The B20 walls are a lot thinner than pretty much all other B series...a lot of honda motors for that matter. LS all the way buddy!
