Default D16Y8 head on a D16Y7...

Any words of wisdom before the fun begins?
Any small upgrades that work well with this head?
Thanks!

if you're gonna run the stock redline, no head upgrades are needed. bolt-on, find yourself the D16Y8 ECU, and you're set. Of course if you choose a high performance cam, then follow the recommendations of that cam.

If you wanna get some bigger power, run D16A6 (88-91 CRX Si) pistons in that D16Y7 block. That'll yield you roughly 10.5:1 compression. Then you got the option of overbore, balancing, etc etc. If you're willing to put in some serious tuning time, you can even run D16A1 (86-89 integra) pistons, that'll get you 11:1 compression, but it's gonna require more anti-detonation work.

Default Integra strip head bolts heli coil or rethread block

:(
I have a big problem my Integra just over heated do to 3 loose head bolts I found out that the block has 3 strip holes, If I try to torque down those 3 bolts they just keep on spinning freely, what is the best thing to do heli coil my block, or just re-thread to a bigger hold and ad a new size of bolts to my head, because I was told in Auto Zone in order to fix that problem I could not use heli coils on my block. I would have to re-thread and use a new size bolt, if this is true, is there a kit that I can buy to rethread and ad 3 new bolts, what is it called.
