I think they are different cause the Y7 has a vertical throttle body and I know that the Y8 does not. So I would say no but there are people here that would know for sure. So I will send you to the top along with my feeble knowlege.

They are different.
They are interchangable. You'll lose some low end (if you have a Y7 and put the Y8 IM)
