Default car hard to shift in first gear

got my civic gsr swap back today. very hard to but in 1st gear and reverse. it had a leak in transmisson so they fixed it. "dont no how" also the clutch has to go all the way to the ground to egage. i dont want to drive all the way back. is this a eazy fix i can do myself, or should i take back. also what should i tell them to fix. i just paid 3500 for this swap here in san diego

I would definalty take it back....As fast as possable, so they do'nt try to blame it on you. sounds to be an internal problem, unless the linkage is bent.

You can adjust the clutch pedal to engage farther from the floor assuming the clutch and it's components are in good condition.

There are some locknuts that will change the engagement point behind the clutch pedal. Loosen them and turn the master cylinder pushrod to get the pedal to the desired height.
