Default vtec turbo question

i was wondering, wut are the risks of lowering vtec shift points? i want to run a vtec turbo, but i keep hearing its inefficient due to turbo creating less vtec time. but as i was looking around in articiles, i hear that the eManage system made by greddy can change vtec shift points. if anyone has any info or links to any information lyk dis, canu please post it. im trying to run an ls vtec turbo car set up in a '90 crx si

just about every engine managment system allows you to change the vtec x-over point. the key is to have it tuned on the dyno for max efficiency and power.

In most cases, raising the cross-over results in a smoother transition, and more power.
You just need to have it tuned on a dyno to find the best spot. Lowering it will usually result in bogging before the cross-over.
