Default Question.

Does B16a head with B20 block rev up as fast as stock B16a? Cause, B16A head with B20 block is longer stroke. Anyone?

Yeah,I understand B20 block won't rev as high as 8K rpm. But I want to know if B20 block will rev up as fast as stock B16a. I mean, for example to reach from 1500rpm to 6500 rpm B20 block will be the same or slower compare to stock B16A? Thanks.

with the b16's tranny it will....in fact you'll go through the gears a little faster since your redline is 6500-7000

Thanks.I heard I need to make the internal stronger in able to go to 8k rpm with B20 block engine. And if I do this, does this B20 block engine make a peak HP on 8k rpm?

The engine is going to rev like a b20 because thats what you have. If your talking about accelerating then thats a different story.
If you want it to rev faster, you can get a lighter flywheel, and ligher internals. But the longer stroke will make it a slower rev.

Peak power will be determined by a lot of factors, the head, compression, performance parts installed all play a role in when and where the power is made.
