Default Wondering...

Just wondering, will B16A head and B20 block with compression 11:1, stock internal parts, and I/H/E, and 2200 lbs car weight will be able to beat stock Mazda RX-8 (0-60 or 1/4 miles)? If not be able to beat it yet, what other modification other than force induction? I know there are a lot of other variables affecting the performance but probably anyone with a lot of experience can tell from the information I mentioned above. Thanks.

going with a smaller head only raises the mid range, if you are a high revver it wont. if you do some extensive headwork, like port, polish, angle and cfm test then you may but you are looking at some bucks.

No, I just want to know, how far I need to tune up my engine in order to compete with stock RX-8.
