is this a daily driven motor, do you think 5k will get you 220hp?? I am here to tell you, if you want premium, you have to pay premium. You will need to start your build with a b16 head, get it ported and polished by alainaz or someone of the like. you have alot of work to do, and ALOT of money to spend.

you can go with cheaper brands to make that build a few hundred cheaper, but that build is looking at about 8 grand or maybe a little more.
Dont get that head on ebay, you have the right idea, just need to get a fully assymbled head, its cheaper this way. I know a guy that will get you a GOOD head that is on honda-tech.com, but im not to sure he is still very active on there. Anyhow if you want me to hook you up with him, let me know. He is a little more expensive, but he is definently a trustworthy person. He doesnt sell screwed up heads and so forth. Anyhow let me know if you need to get intouch with him.

the ls/vtec is a simple bolt on, the head has the springs needed. i have seen a dozen swap overs, its a bolt up really. 220 whp, i would venture farly to say the bolt up will produce about 150whp. 210 chp/ If you want whp upgrade the rods, use gapless top rings and add a 70 shot with a ported head, it should result in what you desire.

but thats not all motor my friend... and ls/vtec is by far not a bolt up idea. I have never seen a bolt on require you take the motor apart and interchange between heads. Where are you getting all of this foul information...
