Default 89 accord juiced up

ok some say im crazy for moddin this car. But I love my 89 accord LX (carburated 98hp). Its got a killer sound system, 18" enkeis, still looks good and just fits me. but it is a little short on power with its 2.0L 98hp carbed engine. I need more power Loads of it. What are the best ways of making power with this car. nitrous/ turbo would prolly blow the old engine. So the best way im thinking is to engine swap and im hoping to do an h22a or frankienstien h23a is this just plain dumb for this car? How much work will it require? How much money? Any other suggestions?

thanks

You'd go mad trying to get a H-series in there.

Swap in a B-series with one of the new mount kits availible these days and either figure out a way to run an aftermarket carb on it or convert the car to fuel injection.

Count on the whole deal setting you back in excess of four thousand dollars, start-to-finish.

Check out www.3geez.com.
If you convert to EFI you will pick up like 20hp. You can boost these motors pretty well I've heard. Lots of good info at that website though.

I remember that site from when I owned a 3G ('86 LX-i.) It's full of total poor-asses that can't afford anything else and a couple smart guys that don't need a how-to on everything they do... as in the 'if you have to ask, you can't do it' guys.

Then again, with a 3G Accord... if you have to ask, honestly you probably can't do it.
