Default Manual Boost Controller Recommendations

I am looking for a manual boost controller to bump the boost up to 10psi before I go in for dyno tuning. I was wondering what the best way to get around this. The ebay MBCs look fine since it is just a ball bearing connected to a spring that allows air to bypass once it overcomes the spring. Is there really any reason to shell out $60+ for a brand name boost controller if my only goal is to increase the boost 2 psi and leave it there?

check out www.boostvalve.com i've had one for about 4 years and it has never failed me once. I bumped my boost from 5.5psi to 10psi (old turbo) and it held steady with no problem, then most recently I used it to bump from my 9psi sping to 13.5psi and it held steady. Never had any issues with spiking or creeping. Best of all it's cheap.
