Default ctr n1 crank pulley

anyone have any firsthand experience with one of these? good or bad?

my friend just bought one for his b20vtec project and was wondering what to expect from it.

I know Bumnah had one, but I'm not sure if he ever actually installed it.

HatchVX and I just put one on his car the other day.

Nothing much to say other then to make sure you have the right size belt for it.

I've got the inlinefour single belt pulley, from back when CTR pulleys weren't available for a few months. As said, make sure you have the right belt or you'll end up with some annoying squeal in cold and wet.

What belt did you end up running Kai?

what im really concerned is with the stories of the pulley shortening the lifespan of the engine because it's not balanced and has no harmonics dampening. this is going onto a stock internals b20b block that will be rebuilt with new rings, gaskets, etc.

If you're really worried about it you could get one of the IL4 pullies, they are an OEM pulley w/ rubber insert that's had the other two belts milled off.

Ding: http://www.inlinefour.com/infourn1encr.html

I wouldn't be too concerned about an OEM Honda part like the N1 pulley.

I think it was a 230mm... HatchVX had to special order it from the Advance Auto down the street when we figured out the stocker didn't fit and our parts department didn't have anything small enough.

Hmm, I wonder if the diameter of the CTR pulley is the same as that IL4 pulley I got... I think I just ended up getting one size smaller than my stocker.
