I was wondering how accurate these things could possibly be.

There are other ones too that are more expensive. I was just wondering how it is possible to read hp and torque through your 12v power source (cigarette lighter). Does any one have this, or something similar? Thanks

For $100, I could go to the track for a full night and get three dyno pulls from a decent shop. After that, I'd have a REAL 1/4 mile time and REAL wheel horsepower and torque numbers.

They aren't that accurate, considering it takes some seriously expensive equipment to measure these numbers.

 

they make programs that work on a gameboy sp that have a cable that plugs to the ecu and also they have it for some palmpilots, i dont just how accurate they are thou

 

I had a gtech when they first came out on my teg, it was fun, telling my hp quarter mi and g's. its a toy

 

i dont they are accurate, but from what i understand they will give consistant readings, so it may help you improve apon yourself and see any gains
