Default 91 Integra LS VTEC swap info?

Hey my stock motor in my car is pretty much **** now. I make a smoke screen when I start my car or floor it lol. I'm gonna put a new motor in and am gonna go VTEC. What would be the easiest motor to put in the car? Also what are some good places to buy motors from? Thanks

Any info would be great. I have been somewhat out of the honda scene and am getting back into it.

Default What's up?

Here's a good link with some LS/VTEC info.

http://www.diyracing.com/2ndpage.htm

Check out the links on the right. Just a word of warning, a factory VTEC engine is not simply a non-VTEC block with a VTEC head. There is a different water pump, oil pump, pistons, rods, crank any many other things. If you want your engine to be reliable, make sure your willing to invest the money to upgrade or replace everything. It will most likely cost you what a VTEC engine would in the end (but you will have built it yourself). Seeya.
