is this correct?

That is true for about 80% of inline 4 cylinder engines.

Unfortunately thats untrue for the B18B and most other Honda engines

1,3,4,2 is the firing order. However the cylinders looking at the engine from in front of the car is (4),(3),(2),(1)

Also if you look at the distrubtor it fires like this. Starting at 1

1-3
2-4

Ooo, yeah, I missed that, #1 cylinder is the crank pulley end.

On a Jaguar, they do things backwards, #1 cylinder starts at the flywheel end

Or on any of the vehilcals that have the engine mounted backwards from that of Honda's. IE tranmission on the drivers side, that drawing would prolly be accurate
