No, I don't have any kind of engine management, should I get some? Would getting that help me out? I do plan on boosting it. The only thing I'm waiting for now to boost it is to sell my GMC truck that I have. Once that is sold the turbo is going in. I have too many cars and I've decided to only keep 3 out of the 5 I had. 74 BUG, 98 Tahoe, and the 93 Hatch.

Thanks
Chuck

ok, you have two opposites, and they wont attract. low compression and skunk2 cams dont mix, wont mix, and will never mix. you need to either put stock cams back in or raise the compression to about 11.5 to 1. If you get rid of the cams, get the usdm type r cams for turbo, they are great for turbo. They also are good for all motor, just not extreme all motor builds. So if i were you, i would get rid of the skunks, keep the cam gears and replace the cams with type r cams. have fun and do more homework next time. :goodjob:

you want the cams i got em type r usdm or jdm spec teg or civic hit me up @ cp_harrington@hotmail.com if you wanna try that if your turbo charging and would rather go gsr I have those too. holla at me. if thats what you wanna try. I did the same thing you did dropped compression and put on stage 2 skunk 2 cams gears valves yada yada yada needless to say I pulled the cams and ran stock gsr cams they made more turbo power than the skunks did now if you got the turbo cams than you are straight. as far as the bottom end problem it may be the crank and it may just be the motor isnt broke in all I can say (from experience) just be patient untill the motor is broke in after its all broke in than get on it and see if its still droopy. hope this helps also check your plugs. do you have a adj. fuel pressure regulator?? and a fuel pressure gauge?? if not invest in one there only like 100 - 150 $ for the complete kits for the regulators and youll need that if your going turbo. I am on my 2ond B16 due to my inpatience and lack of good tuning from shops who know what there doing. a shop here blew up my 1st b16 while tuning my afc 2 controller. now my second motor is in needless to say you need to do your homework on a shop before you take your car to them.

I do plan on getting engine management, but I just don't have anything for the turbo yet. I was gonna use the SMT6. Has anyone ever heard of that?

Thanks for everyones input. I know I should have done my homework a little better but I needed the car for a daily driver since I sold my Maxima to get the money to build this civic. I drive too much to use my tahoe as a daily and the VW is at a shop being rebuilt and the GMC truck is also a gas guzzler so I needed this done so i could drive it to work and back everyday which is about 100 miles round trip.
