Default Low Rpm Power Loss

I just got this engine built, put it in, had somes problems starting it, but now it runs...the only thing is at low RPM it's dead, no power until it gets to 2 to 3 thousnad RPMs. I don't have a tach gauge, my car is a 93 hatch dx with a B18B1. After 3 thousand RPMS it pulls real hard, but it's just that loss of power at low RPM. It does it in any gear. Can I advanced the distributor timing to cure that problem or is there something else I can do to fix my problem?

Thanks
Chuck

Ok, since you're saying that it won't do anything how about telling me something that could help me fix the problem?

Thanks

I haven't launched it yet, cause I'm still breaking in the engine, but at take off it feels like it has no power at all. I also have a stage 3 3 puck clutch which doesn't help much either.

No, I have lowered the compression with the pistons (JE) and have eagle rods. I also have skunk 2 camshafts with skunk 2 camshaft gears. The crankshaft is stock.

Thanks

That may be your problem. You may want to think about fine tuning your fuel on a dyno if you haven't already.

No, I have not done that yet. I'm new to all the import stuff. How do you make the adjustments to the fuel? Is there a set screw I can turn to give it more gas?

Thanks
