Turbo it. That will give you a good grip of torque.

V8 :chuckles:

Basically anything you bolt on will give you less low end torque.

About 300whp is safe for that motor.
What are the specs of that turbo? Trim, A/R etc. Smaller exhaust would equal faster spool, larger exhaust turbin slower spool.

Except a supercharger. But those suck anyway.

You don't need much low end torque because in a race, you will spend 99% of the time in the upper RPM powerband.

superchargers arent as bad as you might think. Dont listen to everything on the net and by word of mouth. Know the people that you are listening to, i know a guy shooting for 10 sec pases on the quarter with a supercharger on just 10 pounds, show me how many turbos push ten pounds is ten seconds down the quarter. Dont knock it before you try it. Anyhow, there is nothing wrong with turbo or superchargers and nothing wrong with all motor or nitrous, just do your homework before you try anything stupid.

how come my buddy can run high 13's low 14's with a stock b20b in a crx the torque and hp specs are around 126 technically the hp of my engine is way more powerful and he has about 10-15 more ft.lbs torque......and his car is 1800 lbs and mine is 2300 ....and im only running mid 14's (stock). does this sound right to you guys? .......btw the A/R on my t3 i believe is .48...i do not know the trim....but is there a way i can reduce the compressor wheel for a slower spool? or would i need a bigger turbo?
