Default D15 Stroker Kit

I am looking to change a D15 engine to 8:1 compression ratio, as well as prepare it for a 10 psi turbo! Also anyone know if you can directly transplant the MPFI from a 92 civic D15 to a 89 D15 with DPFI

What car is it?
For whatever it would cost to stroke it, you could get a D16 cheap and put it in there. D15's are shitty motors all around, I wouldn't waste time with it.

all you need are new pistons to drop the compression. not an entire stroker kit.

The car is a 89 Civic HB I have a brand new D15 with DPFI and I just got another D15 from a 92 Civic HB with MPFI. The 92 engine I wanted to rebuild to take 8 - 10 psi of boost to be dependable I use this car to drive over 500 miles up and down the rocky mountains weekly!

Aftermarket forced induction and reliability do not go hand in hand. If you're putting a lot of miles on the car, don't turbo it.

Fast

Reliable

Cheap

Pick two.
