Default B20 Swap

I was wondering what I will need for a b20 swap. Im planning to do the vtec head on it. What tranny do i use with it? BTW I have a 97 hatch

Oh, and is there a difference on the weight between the b20 and a b18?

I do believe the B20 is heavier. Why dont you go with a B18C1 & do some work for all motor. If thats the case I'd go with the H22 IMO.

Youlll need integra axles, ARP head studs, might get some rod bolts too, And of course your OBD2 stuff, dizzy, injectors, etc.... some more stuff to it, but i cant remember, i just helped with this swap 3 days ago too into an EG. *everyone else should be able to give you more, i cant remember anything this early in the morning*

Oh yeah you can use any B series trans

an obd2 p75 if you plan to keep it non vtec

until you get the vtec head, use the p75. when you do get the head, you can use a chipped p28 or p30 and something to tune with. p28's are easier to find though.

What is a good tranny for the swap? I want something that has acceleration but at the same time has some top end speed

If you know your going ALL motor B16 trans with LSD... FI either GSR or LS.... Id prefer the GSR because it does a bit of go compared to the LS

BTW LSD on all of the trans
