Default Installing B20b into 2000 civic si

I am about to swap a stock B20b nonvetc into a 2000 civic si. I got a p75 ecu for it. I belive it redlines @ 7000, I want it to redline @8000 like my si, since I will still use my stock gauge cluster. Does anyone know how it can be done with out trying turning it from OBD2 to OBD1.(dont want to spend more money since I dont have it). I also know I have to use an LS intake manifold, but does anyone know which years i can use?? Also what other components from the B16 do I need to use for the swap. Is there anything else that I should be aware of. Thanks for your help.

dude the b20b isin't built to rev that high man your goin to end up popping it.....plus....even if you chipped the ecu....your peak power and torque is around 6,500 you'll lose a lotr of that power if you go that high....why do you want to do the b20 for torque?

dude better off just swapping bottem ends rather then whole engines bra.. b16/b20 vtec would be nice but dont swap that weak thing into that car..keep everything stock and just switch bottem ends shouldn't take longer then 2 days to do too..and involves little to nothing..my two cents...also dont Si b16's redline at like 8900?? or suntin??

I wish my SI engines when i had them redline at 8.9K.... mine redlines at 7.9K

Anyways, i agree, since you have a Si, buy all the parts needed for a Cr/vtec setup, so you'll still have the torque and vtec y0!

8,250 is redline.
swapping from a b16 to a strait b20 imo isn't worth it. Swapping the b20 block is worth it imo if you plan to stay N/A or if you plan to build the bottom end for boost (includes sleeves).

Redline in B16's should be 8000 or 8200.Either put the B20 bottom end only or just get Type R parts.

Right now i already have a turbonetics turbo with 7lbs of boost i think thats why my b16 rod blew? So i heard that the b20 would be the best way to go

eh.....7psi...is really nothing esp. for the b16 but if you were to put the b20 bottom end...you'll have to up the boost since the b20 has a much lower compression ratio but no doubt 7psi is safe as long as you tuned it right...you def. did somthing wrong
