Default b16 swap from 89 rex to 92 si

I'll cut to the question, I have a b16 in a 89 CRX hf that is giving me issues and I have to completely tear it apart. I also have a 92 civic si that is not running. What, if possible, would be involved in tranferring the b16 to the si? What extra parts would I need? One of the kids at my mechanics shop said that it could be done but everytime we talked about it, he would give me a different list and price to do the swap.

Thanks for any help.

It's alot involved because for one you have to convert your tranny over from cable to hydraulic, your B16 is OBD0 so you have to convert over to OBD1 or 2 not sure.Shiftlinkage also. Their's more but my suggestion would use the search.

Yeah prety much what he said.
You can sell your tranny then buy a hydrolic b-series tranny. Thats probably the cheapest route. The you would need to swap over to obd-1. You can use your stock p-28 ecu just get it re-mapped to dohc specs. You will lose the knock sensor though (not important)...
Your better off selling your motor and buying a b16a3 or sir2 if you want a b16, otherwise it's your open to anything you want.
