what about h22 head on f23 block

Default what about h22 head on f23 block

I got a customer here that want to put a h22 head on his f23 engine..... i'm trayimg to sell him the entire h22, but he don't wana loose a piston job that he did on the f23..... Anybody trys that kind of frankenstein....... ?????????

not gonna work. h series head only to h series bottom end, f series bottom end only f series head.

same with b,d, etc

actually i think they did do that, i think i saw a honda-tech thread on it once. but i cant recall though if it was H head on F block or F head on H block? ive seen it on the honda-tech board id ask them about it

they did it on h-t, but just like the vtec head onto a b20 block the stroke is a lil too long for the revs and it may have a high failure rate... tell him that it is going to be more unreliable and he should just sell the f23 or boost it.
